The Role of Admin Assistant (FSC)

As an Admin Assistant at the Family Service Centre (FSC), you will play a crucial role in supporting the team to ensure smooth operations. This full-time position involves various administrative tasks to ensure that the services provided are effective and efficient. You will also collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, working alongside social service practitioners in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Front Desk & Communication Management
    You will be the first point of contact for visitors, managing inquiries and directing them to the right department. Additionally, you'll handle phone calls, emails, and packages, ensuring that communication flows smoothly within the organization.

  2. Administrative Support
    The role requires you to perform data entry, coordinate staff appointments, and assist with report preparation. You'll also provide logistical support for meetings, from booking rooms to preparing materials.

  3. Office Management
    Monitoring and managing office supplies and overseeing office maintenance will be an important part of your duties. You’ll ensure that the office environment runs seamlessly, allowing your colleagues to focus on their work.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A GCE A-Level or Higher Nitec qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Empathy and compassion, particularly for individuals in vulnerable circumstances.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
