Administrative Support Role in Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning at Marriott International

This administrative support position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning department. As the primary support for the Senior Director of Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning, you will play a vital role in helping the department meet its business goals and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Support professional, your day-to-day tasks will include:

Calendar and Travel Management: You will manage calendars, organize travel plans, and coordinate meeting schedules for senior leadership. This includes planning business trips, securing flights, visas, accommodations, and staying up to date with current travel regulations, including Covid-related guidelines.

Meeting Coordination & Minute-Taking: You’ll be responsible for organizing meetings, preparing agendas, sending out invites, and ensuring meeting minutes are captured accurately.

Administrative Support: From drafting emails, business letters, and memos, to handling incoming and outgoing mail and preparing presentation decks, you'll ensure all administrative tasks run smoothly and professionally.

Expense Reports and Presentations: You’ll compile and prepare expense reports, assist in creating presentations, and organize data for management reviews.

Confidentiality and Documentation: Managing confidential information and maintaining organized filing systems will be crucial in ensuring the department's operations remain efficient and secure.

Internal Communication: You'll assist in preparing internal communication materials, such as emails and memos, that help keep the team aligned on company initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: The role will also require you to work effectively across departments, collaborating with teams to ensure all business objectives are met seamlessly.
Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Education and Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in large-scale corporations. Experience in the hospitality or corporate environment will be a plus.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a positive, team-oriented player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other productivity tools.
