FireAid performances: Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, No Doubt support LA wildfire recovery

On January 30, 2025, Los Angeles hosted FireAid, a monumental benefit concert aimed at supporting victims of the recent devastating wildfires. The event featured an impressive lineup of artists, including Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and a reunited No Doubt, all coming together to raise funds and awareness for the affected communities.

A Night of Unforgettable Performances

Held across two iconic venues in Inglewood—the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum—FireAid showcased a diverse array of musical talents. At the Intuit Dome, attendees were treated to performances by Billie Eilish, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jelly Roll, Olivia Rodrigo, and Stevie Wonder. Meanwhile, the Kia Forum featured acts like Alanis Morissette, Green Day, and the much-anticipated reunion of No Doubt.

The concert not only provided entertainment but also served as a platform for sharing stories of resilience. Speakers, including fire victims and first responders, took the stage to recount their experiences, adding a poignant touch to the evening

A Collaborative Effort for a Worthy Cause:

The success of FireAid was the result of a collaborative effort involving the Azoff family, Live Nation, AEG Presents, and key figures like Joel Gallen and Gillian Zucker. The event aimed to raise millions for relief efforts, with proceeds managed by the Annenberg Foundation to ensure effective distribution for both immediate aid and long-term rebuilding projects.

How to Support the Cause

For those who couldn't attend in person, FireAid was streamed live across various platforms, including Apple Music, Netflix, and YouTube, allowing supporters worldwide to participate. Donations are still being accepted through the official website, FireAidLA.org, with the Ballmer family pledging to match all contributions made during the live broadcast, effectively doubling the impact of each donation.

The overwhelming support from artists and the community underscores the unifying power of music and collective action in times of crisis. FireAid not only provided immediate assistance to those affected by the wildfires but also highlighted the resilience and solidarity of the Los Angeles community.
