Role Overview:

As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations within the organization. This role requires you to offer both remote and onsite support, ensuring your colleagues have the tools they need to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware Support: Provide vital hardware support and services, ensuring that all IT equipment is functional.
• IT Equipment Management: Manage stock levels of IT equipment and place orders when necessary to maintain smooth operations.
• Active Directory and Firewall Knowledge: Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Active Directory (ADDS) and Firewall Administration, specifically with Sophos, to ensure network security and functionality.
• System Setup & Assistance: Assist in the setup of IT systems onsite or guide users through the setup process remotely.
• Installation & Integration: Help with the installation and integration of new systems and software, addressing any security issues along the way.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Offer remote technical support, troubleshooting via phone or chat to resolve IT challenges as they arise.
• Ad-Hoc Requests: Respond to various IT support requests on an as-needed basis to ensure continuous support for the team.
