Position Overview

Primary Purpose

In this role, you will be assisting customers at the counter, answering telephone calls, and ensuring that you’re offering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will also include verifying identification for certain products when required. Every day, you’ll be helping to build a stronger community while learning and growing within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review your work schedule at the beginning of your shift.
  • Assist customers at the counter, ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.
  • Handle phone calls promptly, assisting customers as needed.
  • Verify customer identification when required for certain products.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Meet state-required minimum age for the position.
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform job duties and adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Completion of the 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
  • Must meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards for the role.
  • Ability to operate required tools and equipment.
  • Regular attendance is a must.
  • Adherence to safety and job function guidelines is required.
  • Must wear company-approved clothing and footwear.

Physical Requirements

  • Shift hours: Minimum 4-hour shifts, with potential to extend based on business needs.
  • Regular lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing (55%), walking (45%), and no sitting during shifts.
  • Physical strength: Max pull of up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and compliance with state and federal pharmacy
