About the Role: Packing/Shipping Associate

This position involves working in the packing and shipping department on weekday shifts. You will be responsible for packaging and loading furniture to ensure products reach customers efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow safe work practices and adhere to PPE standards
Maintain a positive attitude and uphold company policies
Work efficiently to meet departmental production goals
Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and quality
Communicate with leadership to address any challenges
Package and load furniture at a minimum rate of 6 pieces per hour, with a goal of 8 pieces per hour
Ensure inventory accuracy by correctly placing tags/tickets

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
Basic math, reading, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret production tickets and instructions
Capability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
Previous packing/shipping experience in furniture manufacturing
Leadership experience (a plus!)
Basic computer skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements

Stand for 10-hour shifts and bend/twist as needed
Frequently lift and carry items weighing 20-25 lbs
Occasionally lift items up to 60 lbs
