Job Description:

As a Mail Sorter, your responsibilities will include:

  • Mail Unloading & Sorting: Unloading, segregating, and sorting mail items based on their designated delivery routes and recipient addresses.
  • Route Sequencing: Organizing mail items according to the postmen’s delivery routes, including high-rise building blocks and unit numbers for landed residential or shop houses.
  • Mail Redirection Service: Identifying and recording mail items for the Mail Redirection Service.
  • Delivery Service Monitoring: Ensuring all mail items under delivery service monitoring are checked.
  • Admail Distribution: Assisting with the segregation and distribution of admail to various delivery beats.
  • Statistical Compilation: Recording and compiling statistics related to mail traffic as needed.

Additional Information:

  • Position: 1-year contract, part-time
  • Working Hours: 20 hours per week, with an average of 4 hours per day
  • Workdays: 5 days a week
  • Work Location: Islandwide
